Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Collin needs:
- Active Adult home, if there are children they need to be at least 5 years of age
- Someone home part of the day to continue housetraining
- Someone with puppy experience is a bonus
- No apartment or condo living as I’m not fully vaccinated
Hi everyone, my name is Collin. I’m a very happy/playful 6-pound, 9-week-old (as of 9/22/2025) male Chihuahua mix puppy. My soft fur is brown/white and I have a dark snout. I’m very cute/cuddly and need an active home with everyone steady on their feet. I get excited and I’m usually under foot. Children need to be gentle and at least 5 years old. I can’t live in an apartment or condo because I’m not fully vaccinated and no paws on the ground in public common areas. I am due for my next (3rd) round of puppy vaccines on Oct.15 then again 3 weeks after that, my rabies vaccine will be due when I’m 16 weeks old. Someone needs to be home part of the day to take me out on a regular routine so I continue to do well with my housetraining. I’m working on getting used to being in my crate – at night I would probably do ok if my crate was in your room and I know you are close by. I have a special indoor play area where I hang out during the day if my foster mom is busy or she needs to leave the house for a little while. I ride quietly crated in the car to keep me safe. I’m working on wearing my collar/tags so I’ll need your help with that. If you have a playful small dog to play with me that would be wonderful. I love to chase the other small dogs in my foster home and some of them don’t like it if I get in their face and they set the boundaries so I back off.
