Introducing Cooper! A very charming 27 pound, 13-year-old male mix of Cocker Spaniel and Shih Tzu! He’s got a very soft white and tan coat and a heart of gold.
Cooper is truly the definition of a companion dog. His tail is always wagging, a constant signal of his happy and gentle nature. He just loves being near his people, whether you’re working, relaxing on the couch, or cooking in the kitchen. He’s content to be wherever you are, often found snoozing nearby. When he’s not napping, his favorite pastimes are going for gentle walks around the yard and car rides. He’s an excellent co-pilot and loves to feel the breeze.
For an older gentleman, Cooper is in pretty good shape. He has a heart murmur which does not currently require medication and osteoarthritis, which causes some stiffness in his joints from his age, but a daily supplement helps him stay comfortable and mobile. Cooper has some hypertension in right front leg, but it doesn’t hinder his get up and go! We’ve also noticed he might be a little hard of hearing, but don’t worry, his ears perk up at the sound of a treat jar opening!
Cooper doesn’t shed and he’s already house trained—he’s a total pro! Cooper gets along great with other dogs and cats, and would fit well into a multi-pet household, but he would really love to be your main squeeze. He’s incredibly gentle and well-mannered, a true old soul with a lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and loyal friend to join your family, Cooper is your guy. He’s ready to spend his golden years by your side, showering you with endless affection. Cooper is neutered, current on vaccines and preventatives, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $100.
