- No attached housing as he does like to bark at noises

- Needs a small fenced yard and would love a small buddy
Hi everyone! I’m Flynn, a 3 year old male Shih Tzu/Poodle mix weighing in at about 9.8 pounds. I was found as a stray and had been on the streets awhile when SBRET took a chance on me. They cleaned me up and groomed me to reveal the beautiful boy you see before you. I have been with my foster mom for almost a month now and am finally calmed down enough to be me. I love other small pups and playing is my jam. There is not a toy out there that I do not love, or a throw pillow, so you may have to watch me around some household items. I have not been around cats or kids to know how I will feel about them, but I do know that I am NOT a fan of large dogs. Maybe from some trauma of being on the streets.
I am basically housetrained. I need to feel safe when I am outdoors to do my business. I have some anxiety when my foster mom leaves. I bark and bark and bark, so I definitely cannot live in attached housing. I walk well on a harness and leash but will need to be monitored closely because sometimes I hear the streets calling me back (even though I love people and pets and treats and food and comfy beds and water and toys). So I will need to be watched around all doors and gates. I am very much a snuggler and love to have my belly rubbed. I am playful and love all of the toys and will follow my person around wherever they go.
The doc gave me a clean bill of health on my first visit. I am a good weight right now, but also love all of the kibble and treats. I will try to steal my foster siblings’ food if I’m not being watched, but am getting better becuase I do not like for them to be mad at me. I do not like to be crated in the home or car, but I love those special car platforms they make it so that I can see all of the sites.
I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention.
Adoption fee is $175.
