Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.

Gravy needs:

• Very active adult home where everyone is sure-footed
• Children gentle and at least 5 years of age
• Someone home part of the day to continue housetraining
• Gated indoor play area when you can’t keep both eyes on me

My name is Gravy, and I know it very well. I’m a male Chihuahua mix I will be 4 months old the week of 3/23. I weigh just under 10 pounds and will more than likely be around 20 pounds when I’m full grown. I’m very handsome with my soft light tan fur and white markings. My ears are confused one week they are standing tall and floppy the next. I’m a busy boy so the adults in my forever home need to be very active and steady on their feet so no one gets hurt. Children need to be gentle and at last 5years old. I love to play with the other dogs in my foster home and I would really like it if there is a live in playmate for me when I find my forever family. Cats don’t like me much I have to much energy for them. I need some work on my leash/harness training.

After I’m fully vetted (3/20), I would love to go on daily walks with you and check out the neighborhood. I have been working real hard on my potty skills and doing well as long as I’m taken outside every few hours but I do still have an accident on occasion. I do use pee pads in an emergency – I do best with the washable kind.  Puppies like to chew or get into things. My foster mom has an indoor gated play area with everything I need where I hang out when she’s busy and can’t keep both eyes on me. At night I sleep quietly in my crate – if I do wake my foster mom takes me out to potty then back to my crate until the morning. She also crates me if she needs to leave the house for a few hours and I’m find with that. I ride well crated in the car maybe when I get older I can ride in a secure doggie car seat.

I will be completing my puppy vaccines including my Rabies on 3/20 and will be up to date until this time next year. My monthly flea/heartworm preventions are up to date as well. I’m neutered and microchipped. My adoption fee is $175.
