Gravy needs:
- Active Adult home
- Children need to be at least 5 yrs. old
- Someone home part of the day to continue house training
- No apartment/condo living – I can be very verbal at times
- Secure Fenced yard or daily walks
My name is Gravy (I know it well). I’m a male Chihuahua mix -probably some kind of Terrier they tell me. I am 5 months old and weigh in at right around 12 pounds.I am very handsome with my soft light tan fur and beautiful eyes. My ears are confused one day they are floppy and standing straight up the next.
I would do best in an active/social adult home. I am a fun loving well behaved little guy. I really enjoy being with my people and also other playful dogs. If you have a secure fenced yard and another playful young dog, that would be a wonderful way to help me burn off some of my energy. My foster mom makes sure I always have a chew toy close by and she is very proud that I leave the furniture in one piece. I would do well with children that are gentle like me and at least 5 years of age.
Daily walks would be great as I am still working on getting more comfortable with the whole leash/harness thing. Cats don’t like me much I have too much energy for them. I sleep all night quietly in my crate until I hear that someone is awake — I will whine very loudly to remind you I need you to take me outside to potty right away. If my foster mom needs to leave the house for a couple hours, I nap in my crate until she returns – again when I hear you return I whine very loudly until you take me out to potty. My whine is too loud for apartment or condo living—the neighbors would not like me much. My foster mom also crates me to keep me safe if we ride in the car and I do very well. As I get a little older I would probably do well in a secure doggie car seat.
I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on my vaccines and preventions. My adoption fee is $175.
