Hank

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Hank needs:

  • Someone to provide endless amounts of squeaky toys
  • Someone who will tolerate excessive squeaking of toys
  • Someone to work on my weight loss
  • Regular professional grooming
  • If there is another dog in the home, it should be calm although another dog is not required
  • If there are any children in the home, they should be over 8 years old

Meet Hank! Hank is a 5 1/2-yr-old male Shih Tzu. Hank is a long and stout boy weighing 22lbs but needs to lose a few pounds. Hank is a laid back, well mannered, sweet boy. He demands an excessive amount of squeaky toys that he can squeak to silence and then move on to the next one. He is the cutest, always carrying around a toy.

Hank gets along well with other dogs as long as they do not get in his face or try to steal his toys. He does great riding in a car, walking on a leash and for groomings. Hank is also crate trained. He does very good with house training despite being neutered later in life. Based on previous records and salivary staining on his fur he may have seasonal allergies. Since being in foster care he hasn’t shown any symptoms other than some occasional foot licking. Hank is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, current on heartworm testing, heartworm, flea and tick preventive.  My adoption fee is $175.

If you are looking for a sweet, calm companion, Hank may be your match!
