Henry

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Henry needs:

  • Adult home with children over the age of 10, as he does not like loud noises and a lot of activity
  • No apartments or condos, since he has some separation anxiety and tends to bark for a while when left alone
  • Steady on your feet since he can get underfoot following you around
  • Regular professional grooming

Henry is a 4 to 5-year-old male Yorkie and weighs about 10 pounds.  Henry is such a handsome boy and is the epitome of a velcro dog!  He loves following you around the house and pretty much just wants to be with his person.  His idea of a great day is spending time on the couch napping or wandering outside and smelling everything.  Henry is housetrained very well as long as you take him outside every couple of hours.  He isn’t really playful but he just loves to be petted and talked to.  Henry walks great on a leash and listens when you tell him no.  He does not like crates at all and prefers to sleep in a bed with his owner.  He will usually curl up by your legs and stay there until morning. Henry is not a big fan of car rides. Henry would probably be fine with another gentle  small dog in the home.

Henry was surrendered because his owner could no longer care for him.  He is such an affectionate little man and very much just wants to be loved.  He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. He will get a dental cleaning before going to his forever home. His adoption fee is $175.
