Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Jessie needs:
- A home where everyone is surefooted and steady on their feet
- Children should be over the age of 5 due to my small size
- Someone home during the day to help me with my potty training
Hey everyone I’m Jessie! I’m an 8-week-old (born on April 29), 4-1/2 lb pug/terrier mix with, according to my foster mom, the most kissable little face ever. That woman is always smooching me! But I don’t mind because I am a sweet, affectionatej, happy little girl so go ahead and smooch away!
I haven’t been in rescue very long and was lucky enough to have the benefits of being with my mom and siblings for the first 6 weeks of my life. I am a healthy little girl and since I was born into a large litter (9 puppies!) I’ve learned to share and to get along. And while I am playful, I am the calmest of the bunch and my temperament and disposition are a little quieter so I probably would not do well with big, loud dogs in the house.
I sleep quietly in an indoor playpen at night with my siblings and mostly use the potty pads indoors. I had not been outside much so outdoor potty training is a new thing for me. Honestly, I don’t get it yet; but if you will be patient and help me, I’m sure we can figure it out together.
I’m not sure how big I will get, my mom was a pug and my dad was a scruffy terrier so Google that and come to your own conclusion! Puppies tend to get underfoot; and I am no exception, so I would need a home where everyone is steady on their feet. And I will need for you to get me an indoor playpen so I can stay safe when you’re not home or can’t watch me.
Puppies like me can live for a long time so I am looking for someone who can hang with me for the long haul, and who has patience and commitment so I can grow into a great little dog!
So if you’re looking for some scruffy little sweetness to make your family complete, get your application in with my friends at SPRET.com. I have had my first set of shots and will be spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $175.
