Hi everyone my name is Lainey Brook. I’m a VERY ACTIVE 10-month-old Black/Tan female Yorkie mix. I weigh in at 7 pounds. I have a very busy agenda so I must have things to keep me entertained such as long walks (I do well on a leash/harness), chew toys, and playing ball. I must have a very active adult home with everyone sure-footed so no one gets hurt. Children need to be gentle and at least 10 years of age because of my size. I sleep quietly crated at night in my foster mom’s room. I’m too young just yet to sleep in the big bed—I would probably get into some kind of trouble during the night. I’m still working on my house training and doing well– I’ll need someone home most of the day to continue my routine. During the day when I potty outside I earn the right to roam the house. When my foster mom needs to leave the house for a few hours, I’m in my crate to keep me safe and accident free. I do bark during this time –she watches me on her sneaky spy camera. Because I have a loud bark at times, apartment or condo living would not be good for the neighbors close by.
A secure fenced yard and another playful small dog living in my new home would really help me work off some of my extra energy. I ride well crated in the car to keep me safe. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home as long as they don’t try to boss me around — I will stand up for myself if I need to. I haven’t been around cats so I couldn’t say if we would get along. I’m adorable but a work in progress– training classes would be great for me. I’m spayed, microchipped, up to date on my vaccines and preventions. My adoption fee is $175.
If you have the time/energy and the kind of home I’m requesting, contact my friends at SBRET.COM get your application approved. Let’s play ball real soon.
Love, Lainey Brook
