Meet Lenny! Lenny is a male, scruffy little Terrier mix and is about 1-2 years old. He weighs 9.4 pounds. His coat is tan with red and blond highlights.
Lenny came to us from a shelter. He is an active little guy and needs a small companion dog (or two) in his forever home. He looks out the window of his foster home and cries out to the neighbors’ dogs and to the ones walking by. When we go for a walk, he wants to follow every dog we encounter.
Lenny loves a good walk and has been on most of the trails at Ijams Nature Center. He does well on the neighborhood sidewalks, too. He learned how to walk on a leash in about 2 days and is getting good at not pulling, although the scent on that next tree trunk is sometimes too much to resist!
Lenny goes outside to potty and has not had any accidents in his foster home. He kennels up and sleeps all night in his crate in his foster parents’ bedroom. He travels inside his crate in the car with no problems. He does not bark a lot but he can be vocal if he gets bored and is looking for some activity.
Lenny will need to be brushed and bathed regularly. A groomer about twice a year to cut the hair around his face and eyes and sanitary will be required.
Lenny has no known health issues and is a good eater when he gets hungry. He is currently eating dry kibble topped with some canned food. A food that is good for skin and coat would be best for him.
Lenny has been neutered and is up to date on all of his vaccinations and preventions. His adoption fee is $175.
