Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Lucy needs:
- Active home with everyone sure-footed
- Children need to be gentle and at least 5 years old
- Someone home most of the day to continue house training
- No apartment or condo living (I’m not fully vaccinated)
- Indoor puppy playpen or gated area to keep me safe
My name is Lucy. I am a sweet, energetic 7-pound, 10-week-old female Pug mix (born March 26). I’m looking for an active forever family with everyone steady on their feet so no one gets hurt. Children need to be gentle and patient with a bouncy puppy. No apartment or condo living for me right now as I’m not fully vaccinated, so no public or common areas quite yet.
Puppies like me have a lot of energy and require a lot of time, patience, and hard work! I absolutely love to play with other dogs, so I would thrive in a home with a playful doggie friend who can help burn off some of my puppy energy. I need someone home most of the day to continue my house training and crate training. When my foster family is busy and can’t keep both eyes on me, an indoor play area or gated space with everything I need is perfect to keep me safe.
It’s very important that you help me get used to wearing my collar/tags and my harness—they might feel kind of strange at first, but I’ll get used to them in a little while. Like all SBRET puppies, I will be spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my age-appropriate vaccinations before heading to my forever home. My new family will just need to be responsible for completing my remaining rounds of puppy shots and my rabies vaccine when I’m old enough.
Remember, a puppy is a huge lifetime commitment! My adoption fee is $175. If you have the time, energy, and everything else I need, contact my friends at SBRET.COM and get your application approved so we can meet real soon!
