Marnie needs:
- Someone home part of the day
- No children under the age of 12 years old who know to be gentle with tiny dogs
- Fenced yard since she not used to using the potty on a leash
- Regular professional grooming
Introducing Marnie! Marnie is a tiny 4.2 lb., 13 year old Shih Tzu mix who is the sweetest little girl ever! Marnie‘s goofy puppy days are behind her and she is looking for a quiet retirement home. Marnie loves her person and does want to be with you, but she is not right up in your face about it. She will be your little shadow though. A good portion of her day is spent sleeping cuddled up in her soft fleece blanket.
It would be wonderful for someone to open their home and share their love with this quiet petite senior girl. She deserves to have the rest of her days spent being loved and cared for.
Marnie received a dental and lost the rest of her remaining teeth. It was obvious she had not received good dental care prior to coming to Rescue. But never fear she has no problem eating soft food! Marnie coexists just fine with the other small dogs in her foster home, but she does not interact with them. If you’re looking for a little sidekick, she travels quite well in a vehicle. She does well on her house manners as long as she’s taken out regularly. If you need to crate her for a short period of time, she does just fine with that.
Marnie is spayed and microchipped, up to date on vaccines, received a dental (extracting her remaining teeth) and is on heartworm flea prevention. If you are ready to be Marnie’s forever home, please complete an online application. Her adoption fee is $100.
