Peep

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Peep requires:

  • Patient adopter willing to give her time to adjust
  • Someone home part of the day
  • Playful dog companion
  • Adult-only home
  • Cats must be dog savvy and confident around dogs
  • Secure fenced yard required

Peep is a 3-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix ready for a forever home after raising her puppies.

She is shy at first and needs patience and gentle handling to feel safe. Once comfortable, Peep becomes affectionate and loves staying close to her people.

Her foster mom has helped her gain confidence, and Peep now enjoys cuddling and sleeping nearby. A playful canine companion would continue helping her build confidence.

Peep is doing very well with house training and enjoys routine and companionship. She still likes to chew, so keeping tempting items out of reach is important.

Peep had a skin condition that has cleared up, and her coat is growing in beautifully.

Peep is spayed, vaccinated, and on heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $175, plus $25 for an Apple AirTag, totaling $200.

Peep’s DNA Results Are In!

Curious about what makes Peep so uniquely Peep? Her DNA test revealed:

🐾 50.6% Chihuahua
🐾 10.8% Rat Terrier
🐾 10.1% American Pit Bull Terrier
🐾 7.2% Boston Terrier
🐾 5.9% Dachshund
🐾 Plus a dash of “Supermutt” mystery!

Honestly, the results make perfect sense. The Chihuahua explains her big personality, the Rat Terrier accounts for her busy little brain, the Dachshund may be responsible for her determination, and the Pit Bull contribution shows up in her affectionate, snuggly side. Add it all together and you get 100% Peep — a tiny dog with a huge heart, endless enthusiasm, and enough character to keep you smiling every day.

How how beautifully my coat is growing in!
