Hi there! Pumpkin here. I am a 6-year-old, 19-pound male Havanese/Shih Tzu mix with soft, white fluffy fur. I am a sweet-tempered guy. I am shy when I meet new people; but once I learn to trust you and you become my favorite human, I become very affectionate and will want to be wherever you are.

I am a good car rider. I also enjoy going for walks and exhibit good manners when I am out and about, as I do not bark at other people or dogs. During the night, I sleep in an x-pen in my foster parents’ bedroom, though I may prefer to sleep on the big bed if permitted. I am doing well with house training, but an adjustment period may be necessary upon transitioning to my forever home. SBRET provides belly bands for me to wear indoors while I adapt to my new potty routine. I currently live with 3 other dogs in my foster home, but when I went on a home visit I did not want to share my humans with their other dog so it would be best if I were the only dog in my forever home.

I am current on vaccines and heartworm/flea prevention. I have been neutered, microchipped, and had a dental. If you are looking for a loving companion, fill out an online application and ask for Pumpkin. My adoption fee is $175.
