Roger

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Roger needs:

  • Active adult hone or one with children over 12 years old
  • A playful fur friend
  • A fenced yard
  • Someone who is home a lot to continue reinforcing my housetraining and I don’t enjoy being left  alone

Roger is a playful Chihuahua mix—possibly mixed with Corgi—who is around 1 year of age and 9 pounds. Roger is a sweet boy who warms up pretty quickly! He has the softest coat and a cute  little tail that never stops wagging.  He loves his doggie toys, playing fetch, and would love another playful pup brother or sister.

He needs someone home at least part of the day to reinforce his potty training. He will use a pee pad placed by the door if he needs to but we are working on getting all of his pottying outside. Roger is not a big fan of being left alone and will bark when left in a crate.

He  is very sweet natured & wants to please you! He has learned sit, wait, and look (at your face to receive a command). He does prefer sleeping in your bed at night, but is crated for short times when his foster folks have to both be away. But not a good fit for an apartment or condo as he may bark the whole time.

Because Roger needs space to have his puppy zoomies and has not had a lot of experience walking on a leash, so he needs a fenced yard.

Roger is current on his vaccines and preventatives and is neutered and microchipped. If you think this sweet boy might be the right fit for you, please submit your online application. Roger’s adoption fee is $175

Let’s play!
