Meet your new tiny supervisor! Twila is an 8-year-old, 10-pound female Chihuahua/Terrier mix looking for her best friend. She came from a home with many dogs and can be shy at first, but will warm up pretty quickly. She will warm up to a woman a bit faster than a man.
Her potty skills are excellent, doesn’t require a furry companion but having a confident buddy would be ideal, loves to roll up in a fuzzy blanket and judge you from her favorite spot on the couch. She is seeking a calm home where the humans understand that she will be their slightly bossy shadow and appreciate her superb snuggling talent. Going on car rides is still an ongoing process, but she will calm down as the ride progresses. A secure fenced in yard will work best for Twila. Upon arrival at SBRET, Twila had a skin condition that has resolved, resulting in a gorgeous red coat. Unfortunately, she had a lot of neglect in her previous home. She had two benign skin masses removed, but she has fully healed and is ready for her next big adventure. Her vocal skills are a little too intense for apartment living so a house would be ideal.
Twila is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental, and is current on flea and heartworm prevention. If you’ve been looking for a best friend with a side of grandma energy then Twila is ready to clock in immediately. Her adoption fee is $175.
