Robbie, Wendy (with Sparky) and Lee
In Loving Memory
I think we all have to admit that little Sparky was not an “easy” dog to deal with.
Sparky was one of my first few fosters, he was so attached to me that I had to buy a
carrier (the kind you wear strapped to your chest) to carry him around in. Wherever
I was, Sparky was not far behind! He was a bit of a trouble maker with the other dogs
and escaped from more than one foster home, luckily we got him back safely both times.
Sparky was placed in two homes before he found his forever mom that loved him no matter what.
Sparky was adopted in 2003 by a wonderful family that showed him all the love in
the world. He was with his mom 24/7. She had gotten sick about a year after adopting
him and was home bound for a while so they were inseparable. And when she got
better he was still her shadow. She did not even go down the street without
him by her side.
Sadly his health started to fail, and his family did everything they could for him.
Little Sparky died in his sleep curled up beside his mommy. This is the way he would have
wanted to go, next to his forever mom. Wendy, we can’t thank you enough for loving this
sweet baby in his senior years when he needed it the most.
