Meet Bennett. I am a 7 to 8-year-old male Poodle mix with lots of love and cuddles to give. I weigh 13 lbs. I was very neglected before I came to rescue but those days are behind me! I was having a really bad hair day, so they had to shave some off, but whew did I feel better. I am still working on my house training so someone will need to take me outside every few hours. I will use a doggy door at my foster Mom’s house, but sometimes I forget that I am supposed to do my business outside. When I am wandering around the house and you can’t monitor me or take me out frequently I wear a belly band just in case I feel the urge to mark. I am getting better but need continued positive reinforcement. I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy car rides. I love to play and fetch my toys. I get along well with my foster fur siblings and all humans. I would do ok as an only pup, but I do enjoy the company of others around me. I prefer to sleep in the bed, under the covers close to my human.
I came in with a swollen lymph node probably from my dental disease. I had a dental so now I have a nice healthy mouth! My vet did an aspirate of the node and the pathologist says it is all clear and nothing to worry about. I am now fully vet-checked and have a clean bill of health. lf your heart has a Poodle shaped hole in it, let me be the one who fills it. My adoption fee is $175.
