Buffy

Hi, my name is Buffy. I am a female scruffy Terrier mix. I am a 6-pound bundle of cuteness with lots of personality. I am about 3 years old and in foster care with SBRET after my owner surrendered me. I love everyone, especially when you give me lots of attention. My favorite thing to do is to sit in your lap and have you pet me. I’ll butt my head under your hand if you stop to remind you that I’m still here. When I came into foster care, I had a problem with fleas, so I was itchy and my skin was scabbed and scaly. After getting rid of those pesky fleas and getting some medicated baths, my skin has cleared up, and it feels much better. Otherwise I am a healthy little girl.

I am doing well with my house training especially if I am taken out on a regular basis. A fenced yard would be great, so I could run and play, but would need to be secure as I am small and can get through gaps easily. I also do well on a leash and like to go for walks. I sleep in a crate beside my foster mom’s bed all night without a peep. I am normally a quiet little girl and my foster mom has never heard me bark. Because of my size, I would do best in a family with children 10 years or older. If my owner has to work or I would be left for periods longer than a couple of hours, it would probably be best to have another dog to keep me company. I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccines, and have had a dental. I have been microchipped, I am heartworm-negative and on heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $175.
