Adoption Area: East Tennessee
Cedar needs:
- An active Adult home or one with children over 5 where he will get plenty of exercise
- Someone home part of the day to continue his potty training
- Everyone steady on their feet because he is a puppy and tends to get underfoot
- A playful pal would be great!
Hey everyone, meet little boy Cedar! Cedar is a beautiful 6.8-lb, 9-week-old terrier mix. His mama is about 22 lbs (see photo below) and papa was a rolling stone, so I don’t know exactly how big he will get. You’re going to be seeing a lot of pictures of little white pups that look similar, but all have very different personalities so read on!
Cedar’s curly coat suggests there is some Poodle somewhere in the mix. And he just could not be more adorable! He is a bit more laid-back than some of his siblings, but is still playful. And after he is done playing, he loves to cuddle on your lap and give kisses. Cedar would love a playmate in his new home. He is looking for an active home where he gets lots of exercise and everyone should be steady on their feet because he loves to nibble your toes while you’re walking! A fenced yard for him to run around in and burn some of that puppy energy off would be perfect!
Cedar is the absolute picture of health and the best puppy. He sleeps all night in a playpen with his siblings, eats dry kibble, and uses the potty pads that are in the playpen. He is starting to figure out that he should potty outside when I take him, but he’s just beginning his outdoor potty training so you will have to be consistent with that. Be patient with him, he’s just a puppy and there will be accidents! And he’s mouthy with his sharp puppy teeth so be prepared for that as well!
He has had two sets of puppy shots so he will need two more rounds as well as his rabies vaccination. You should have all his shots completed around the end of February, and then you can take him everywhere! Until then, he needs to stay home.
Whew, that was a lot, but a new puppy is a lot! Of course they’re worth every second of the extra work because there is nothing, and I mean nothing sweeter than puppy kisses ❤️
So, if you’re still with me and are ready to start a new adventure and are ready to be Cedar’s new forever, fill out an application. He has been neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175.
