Hello! Chumbo here! I am a handsome Chihuahua mix boy. I weigh about 11.5 pounds and I am about 10 years old.
I am very loving with my foster mom and dad and I love snuggling on the couch with them, although it took a couple of days to get comfortable with my foster dad.
When I go to my forever home, I will need some time to get comfortable with you, but I promise your patience will pay off because I will be my sweet self once I get to know you. I bark at people and dogs I don’t know so a quiet home with no frequent visitors is what I need. I would not be good for walking in crowded places or dog parks. At night I sleep wherever I want because I don’t like being crated and my foster parents trust my house training manners. I think I would really like being on the big bed with my humans too. I am ok with car rides but I tend to get fidgety so it would be best to transport me in a crate or buckled up with a good harness. I would be happy to have a nice quiet life and be a stay at home dog, but leash walking would be good for me if you can take me to trails where we won’t encounter too many dogs and humans along the way.
