Hi! My name is Daffodil, I am an 11-year-old female Chihuahua weighing in at 8 lbs.
I came from a shelter when my previous family fell on hard times and was not able to care for me anymore. I have been in a foster home with a couple of other pups and we have worked out an arrangement, but my foster mom thinks I will thrive and do much better in a home being the only dog.
My most favorite thing in the world is being anywhere in the same room as you are but wrapped up in a blanket. I currently have a couple of other pups in the house with me and while I tolerate them, I think I would rather be your one and only. I am potty trained and leash trained. I love to run around in a fenced in yard and take in all of the smells and fresh air. Something you must know, while I am a chi chi – I do not want to wear clothes. So, I must find a family that is happy with a chi gal that doesn’t dress up. I sleep well in my kennel at night and while you are away. I am not very vocal so if you work from home, I am a great lap warmer and won’t make a peep.
I have a luxating patella and sometimes when I run I may hold that leg up a bit. It will be important that I not gain weight or be allowed to jump from high places.
I am spayed, up to date on all of my vaccinations, microchipped, on my heartworm and flea preventions, and had a dental. My adoption fee is $100.
