Hey everyone, this green-eyed, platinum blonde beauty is Delilah. Delilah is an 11-week-old 7-lb female Terrier/Beagle mix puppy. She’s a happy, playful little girl with a lot of puppy energy. But when that energy is all burnt off, she looks for a lap to snuggle up in. She’s just a big, soft, squishy bundle of cuddle. Our best guess on her adult weight would be 25 to 35 pounds. She loves people and gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home.
She’s a smart little thing and is doing well with her potty training. But, she’s a puppy, and it’s been cold and rainy outside so her potty training is still a work in progress that you will have to continue. When the sun comes out and it warms up a little bit, she loves being outdoors and playing in the fenced backyard. She will look for a blue potty pad indoors when she needs to, but she still has accidents. It’s just a puppy thing!
Her appetite is good and she loves her dry kibble. She never makes a fuss at bedtime, and sleeps all night with her siblings in an indoor playpen. But I have found that she does not like being in a travel crate for car rides. She cries for most of the trip and occasionally gets car sick. She may outgrow the car sickness, but I can’t guarantee it.
Delilah is on the bigger side for one of our puppies so she would probably be okay with children over the age of eight if they are used to being around puppies. She still has her sharp puppy teeth and that’s how she plays! Puppy teeth usually start to fall out at about 4 months so she won’t have them for long. Adults and children in the home need to be sure-footed because she has a lot of energy and doesn’t always look where she’s going! She would absolutely love to have another little doggy friend to play with her and show her the ropes in her new home!
So if you’re looking for a fuzzy little snuggle buddy to keep you warm this winter, she might just be your girl! Delilah has been spayed, microchipped and is up-to-date on all her puppy shots. Her adoption fee is $175.
