Dottie

Dottie’s Requirements:
– Adult home or one with children over 8 years old
– Fenced yard
– Small dog buddy

Hi, I’m sweet little Dottie — the cutest little wiggle butt you ever saw! I am a 2-year-old, 10-pound female Dachshund/Chihuahua mix that was surrendered to an area shelter. I have since been spayed and microchipped and am up to date on all my shots. I get along with dogs and people just fine. At first I wanted to guard my food but now I am just fine and will even share. I also growled a bit at first if another pup got in my space but I don’t do that anymore either. As a matter of fact, I like having another pup to snuggle with at night. I am ok with being in a crate if you have to go out during the day but would prefer not to sleep in a crate at night. I sleep in a small expen beside foster mom’s bed. I do like to wake up early…. foster mom also calls me a velcro dog, I am not sure what that means I just know I like to be EVERYWHERE my person is! I am doing well with my potty training. I am much better if I am loose in a fenced in yard but I have pottied on a leash but it can take me quite awhile. If there are any children in the home, they should be over 8 years old.

If you are looking for a pretty little girl that loves to snuggle and give lots of attention, count me in! My adoption fee is $175.
