Hi, my name is Dusty and I am a sweet and little female Chihuahua. I weigh 5 pounds and am about
11 months old. I came to SBRET from a shelter and have adapted into my foster home quite nicely. I like cats and
other dogs. In fact I recently had a new foster sister move in with me, and I love to play with her and share
all my toys. The old cats are pretty happy they don’t have to entertain me as often – I have a little more energy than they do.
I need my new family to be patient with me in the home, as I am having great success with potty training but
every now and then I still use the pad inside. I just need you to put me on a regular schedule because I am very smart.
I am great on a leash with a harness and take long walks with my foster Mom and neighbor doggy. However if the pet
ducks are in the yard they do distract me very much! Due to my tiny size I need an adult home or one with children over 12 please.
I am up to date on all my vet work and inoculations. As with all dogs adopted out through SBRET, you will have
to keep me on monthly heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting an immensely cute Chihuahua and
