- An active adult home or one with children over 10
- Someone home during the day
- If there is another dog in the home, needs to be playful
Hey, I’m Franklin! I’m a male Shih Tzu weighing in around 10 pounds and I’m 10 months old. I am a super sweet puppy but I did not get a great start on life as I was not socialized well. I have come a long way in my foster home and am ready for a forever family to love!
My foster family says I am sweet and loveable. I like being in the same room with my loved ones when they are home. I am friendly with other dogs and with humans once I get to know them. I am a bit scared in the beginning, but I will put down that wall and show you love.
I am working on being potty trained, and I am doing well but will need someone home during the day to continue reinforcing that. I did not come to Rescue with any idea about potty training. I am good about using the bathroom outside in the mornings and after I eat. Also, I have not had any accidents in my crate.
I do like belly rubs and will enjoy lots of attention. My foster dad says I have the cutest happy feet dance. When I am happy, my tail wags and I have happy feet. I love chew bones and toys!
