Hello, my name is Gabby!
I am a 10-pound, 9-year-old female Chihuahua. I am a gorgeous blonde girl with long legs and a happy bounce in me when I walk! I am learning all about walking on a leash and socializing with people that live with me in the house. I am doing very well adjusting to these new situations. I currently live in my foster home with 3 other dogs both small and large. I get along with all of them with no problems. I am also hard at work learning to go outside to the restroom. I do use pee pads but have found out I would rather go outside to do my business. I enjoy walking around the back yard on my leash and smelling everything! I love to investigate all the new smells!
I was not exposed to lots of different situations before I came to rescue so I will need someone in my forever home who is calm, patient and willing to allow me to experience all the new things. Sometimes noises do scare me so you would have to be careful with what you expose me to until I get used to my surroundings. I am an incredibly friendly little girl who will sit on your lap and cuddle. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the sofa with my foster mom and have my belly rubbed. I currently sleep in a crate all night all wrapped up in my favorite blankets with no issues.
My perfect forever home would be with someone who can spend time showing how safe and happy my new world can be. I have so much love to give and I try really hard. I will need continued support learning my new world. I am a little afraid of loud noises and commotion so I would not be suited for young children in the home.
I am always very happy to see my foster mom when she returns from work! My foster mom says I have made huge improvements!
I am spayed, have had my dental and have a microchip. I am also current on all my vaccinations, heartworm and flea preventatives.
