Hi I’m Logan! I am a 4-year-old male Shih Tzu mix and I weigh 13 pounds. I ended up in a shelter, and these great people at SBRET brought me into their foster program.

In my forever home, I get along with other dogs my size who would like a companion. There are 2 dogs next door who bark at everything, and my calm, laid back attitude has inspired them to stop barking at me when I am in my yard! Foster mom was very impressed by this.

I like to go outside every 2-3 hours during the day for potty breaks and to see what’s going on out there. I’ve just been neutered since coming into rescue, so my need to go out and mark so much might subside with time. I would need someone who is not gone from home all day because not only do I enjoy your company, but I need someone to take me outside and to continue working on my house training.

I don’t bark very much unless I get excited while playing, so I would be OK living in an apartment or condo. I am a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys hanging out with my foster mom or dad while they sit around on the couch or go about their daily routines and chores. I ride well in the car, either in a crate or in my special pet car seat. If I’m not allowed to go with them, I am OK to hang out in my crate for a few hours until they return. At night I sleep in my crate beside my foster parents’ bed.

I walk very well on a leash and will stand still while you put on my harness and attach the leash. A fenced yard is always great to have, but I do just fine going out to potty on a leash. I love to go for long walks in my neighborhood and on trails in the local parks. It’s good exercise for me and keeps me up-to-date on who else is walking in the neighborhood.

I will require regular brushing and professional grooming. I don’t have any special medical needs. The vet recently cleaned my teeth and had to extract a couple of incisors. I have been neutered and microchipped and am up-to-date on all of my vaccines and preventions. My adoption fee is $175. Give SBRET a shout if you would like to meet me and see if we are a match!
