Marley needs:
- A home with no kids
- Fenced yard
- Dog-savvy home since I’m shy
Hi, I’m Marley. I’m a 2-year-old 10-pound neutered male terrier/chihuahua mix.
I was surrendered to a local shelter and was terrified there so they called SBRET to get me.
I’m learning that life isn’t scary and people can be nice but I am still a bit skittish and leery of new situations.
I love to burrow under blankets and will roll up so tight you can’t tell I’m there.
My foster mom says I’m doing well with my house-training as long as I get out to the fenced yard in time.
I’m still very nervous in a car and will hide under a blanket until the ride is over.
Foster mom is working on leash walking but that is also scary to me and I would prefer to hang out in the fenced yard.
I have made a lot of progress and will walk up stairs now but not down them.
I’ve met the cat and am interested but do not try to chase her.
There are dog buddies here that I hang out with but don’t really play with them but they are also older and don’t play much anyway.
I sleep in a crate at night and tuck right into my blanket after getting my night-night snack.
Foster mom says I just don’t know how to be a dog yet but I’m trying very hard to learn.
If you are wanting a dog that will love you forever, and have patience to let me learn all of the new things then I’m the dog for you! My adoption fee is $175.
