Hi, Newman here! I’m a really laid back and chill guy. I am a male Shih Tzu, about 8 years old
and weigh about 14 pounds. I was an unclaimed stray at a local shelter in desperate need of a spa day
(see my “before” photo when i was at the shelter). What they found under all that hair was adorable me!
I am settling in just great in my foster home and getting all those things figured out about living in a home where
I am cared for and comfortable–no nasty, stinky mats any more for me! I quickly found the round, comfy bed and claimed it as mine.
From there I can see everything that is going on in the house. I am coming out of my shell more and more each day
– I have found the joy in back rubs (I will grin really big!) and good food with a squirt of salmon oil!
I am really good with potty training but I am not so fond of the wet grass. My foster mom is ok with me
going on the deck when that is the case. Since I am just a bit older and we are not sure what my previous
life was like, an adult home or one with children 12 years and older will be best for me.
