Hi! I’m Ozzy! I’m a lovable 5-year-old 11-pound male Chihuahua! I came to SBRET as an owner surrender. I was clearly very well taken care of and I’m a happy cuddly little boy in search of a perfect partner!

I am a playful boy and LOVE to cuddle. I wanna be wherever you are and will bring my toys with me. Whether you’re on the couch or in bed, I’m right there with you for cuddles! I like to play with my foster sister and I LOVE going on walks! My foster mom says when I get excited I give the best high-fives and sing the lovely song of my people!

I am doing very well on my house training but when I transition to a new place or something changes in my environment I might mark. But I promise once I’m settled I will stop. I work really well with a schedule and get very excited when I go out for my walk. I do well with a belly band at first, but my foster mom noticed that I will take it off myself if given the chance. As long as I’m taken out every few hours I shouldn’t have an accident, because I know someone will take me out. This is why I need someone home with me for part of the day. My foster mom leaves me either in a crate or in the kitchen when she has to run errands and I do really well! However, I will bark the moment I hear something, so apartments wouldn’t be ideal. She has also left me loose in the house with my belly band on and I haven’t gotten into trouble!

My foster mom has taken me around town and I am a little apprehensive at first but I settle in quickly. I will do better the more I’m taken out for fun adventures! I am doing better and better with car rides, but I do get nervous. I will pant and then sing the song of my people. My foster mom reminds me everything is okay, and I settle down. I do like a quiet home with not a lot of chaos. I sleep in bed with my foster mom and cuddle up the whole night!

I am up to date on my vaccines and heartworm and flea prevention. I recently had a dental cleaning and the vet said I did not like that they put me under. I apparently gave them a talking to, so they recommend some anti-anxiety meds for the next time! I’m neutered and microchipped, and my adoption fee is $175.
