Welcome Remi to SBRET! She is not quite 14 lbs and not quite 1 year old. Her birthday may be April 1st, but don’t be a fool and let this one pass you by!
This little girl has not had a chance to see much of the world yet and is finding it a bit scary out there! Remi would love someone who will take the time to help her experience everything, maybe even a fun April Fool’s joke. Inside the house, this girl is a happy pup who socializes well with the other pups in her foster home. Delighted to see people, she tends to greet you by immediately rolling over for a belly rub. Thanks to pup friends, Remi is also learning the joy of playing with (ie “shredding”) toys and has even started a couple tug-o-war games with her foster sibling. Fun times in the house!
However outside is a bit of a different story. Remi can be anxious outside and needs help learning that outside can be fun with other dogs to play with, toys to chase and even occasional treats. She’ll need a home who is able to take the time to show her all the good out there. Regular short trips outside will help this timid girl with house training as well as her anxiety. Leash training is coming along and walks around the neighborhood help her socialize and see the world. You don’t have to fool her into getting in the car. Remi loves car rides and really just about anywhere she can be with her people. While she does crate quietly while home alone and at night, she would love to snuggle with you. No joke, this is just a super sweet pup who just wants to be with you.
