Hi, my name is Ringo. I am a 9-year-old, male Shih Tzu mix. Due to health issues, my previous owner could no longer take care of me, and SBRET took me in. My foster mom says that I am a 9.9-pound sweet boy with lots of personality. I am well socialized and get along with other dogs, cats, and people. I like to be where my people are, and love to sit with them or be on their laps. Emptying the toy basket is a favorite game, along with playing tug of war. My foster mom just wishes that I would learn to pick the toys up. I am doing well with my house training and do best if taken out on a regular basis. A secure fenced yard would be great, but I also do well on a leash. I also like to take walks in the neighborhood and greet everyone that I pass. I sleep quietly at night in a crate beside my foster mom’s bed.
I am neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. You will need to keep me on monthly heartworm and flea prevention and make sure that I get a yearly checkup. A household with children over 6 years of age would be best. I would make a great addition to your family, so please consider giving me a forever home. My adoption fee is $100.
