Hi there! My name is Sugarplum. I’m a cute 10-week-old (as of 11/27), 4-pound female Terrier/Chi mix with a sleek short coat and ears that point straight up!! My foster mom says I am a great little girl – I love to play with toys and run around outside. I am not too happy when I am left alone to entertain myself – for the first few minutes, I can get a bit loud until I figure out I need to entertain myself for a little while. I love to run and chase leaves outside – I race all around the yard and can run so fast! I absolutely love having a dog friend to play with and that friend can be big or little like me – I am not scared of anything – I just want to play and run! I will follow my foster mom around the house but am just as comfortable exploring on my own. When I get tired I look for my bed to curl up in for a nap.
I am not a shy girl at all but I am not super cuddly – I will let you pick me up and love on me but you have to catch me first! I think everyone wants to play chase with me. I am working on my potty training – my foster mom says I am a good girl and am learning quickly. I do need to go out every few hours so I don’t have an accident inside. I eat dry food 2x a day and sleep in an indoor exercise pen at night with a pee pad in case I need to go to the bathroom. My foster mom is starting to introduce me to a crate at night but I am not too keen on being in it yet. My foster family has other dogs and a cat – I play well with everyone! I am not overly interested in the cat and don’t bother him.
I’ve been spayed, microchipped and I’m current on vaccines as well as up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.
