Hello, Zazie here. I am a 6 year old female Yorkie. I spent those first 6 years as a puppy mill dog
having litter after litter of puppies until Small Breed came to my rescue. After all those years of living in a cage,
the outside world has been pretty overwhelming to me, but I am starting to enjoy it. I have learned to trust my foster
mom but I am still pretty timid of most other people and new circumstances. However I did do great at a recent adoption
event and approached people and even gave them little licks! My foster mom was so proud!
I am working on my housetraining and I am doing fairly well considering I was never taught anything different until
now. I have learned that I like attention and petting and those things called treats. My foster mom says that I am
starting to “blossom”. I will need a family who is willing to be patient with me and work with me as I learn. I like
my crate and it is still my safe place. My mom leaves the door open so that I can go in and out at will though I
will stay in it with the door shut if she has to go out. I also sleep quietly in it at night.
If you think I might be the girl for you, contact SBRET with any questions or concerns or better yet fill out an
adoption application for me. My adoption fee is $175.
